Multi-tasking cannot even begin to describe the life of a Mompreneur. Keeping up with family challenges, a business, social media, and life in general is a lot to handle for one person. When you’ve got a family, however, you really don’t have a lot of choices if you want to succeed AND be mom and wife.
Well, there is one mom that many people agree to be super. Here’s a short interview about how she gains success, manages family order, and keeps her sanity:
1. Tell us about your business.
I am a distributor for Young Living and I help you discover there is an “oil” for every ache, ailment, illness, sickness, disease, with the intent of helping you to replace your OTC medicines with therapeutic essential oils. I teach others how to live a life full of health, wealth and abundance naturally using Young Living essential oils and other natural products. I coach and train my team both locally and nationally through training calls, social media support groups, internet, as well as phone/text.
2. Please tell us in just two words, what a consumer or your customer can best gain from your business?
Health and Wealth
3. How do you balance your role as a business woman and a mom?
I balance this through prayer and seeking God first. He aligns my day and my priorities. I am great at multi-tasking which you have to be when you homeschool your children, run 2 home based businesses and blog 3-4 times a week. A system that works for me is that I wake up at 5am to exercise, spend time with the Lord and this enables me to start working before I begin homeschooling. Once I begin teaching, I will transition back and forth with work and mom duties throughout the day.
4. What is the most challenging aspect about being a Mompreneur?
Time. I could easily use 30 hours a day.
5. What is the most rewarding aspect about being a Mompreneur?
Seeing lives changed on a physical, spiritual, mental and emotional level as well as helping others to achieve financial freedom through my 2 home based businesses.
6. What do you like best about blogging?
I love the challenge of finding something to blog about. I focus on health and wellness and always want to be creative, interactive, and engage my readers (audience) in order to cater to their needs.
