I’m a label reader. I love natural products simply because I’d rather be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to my little boy. My son got his first skin issue just 3 days after he was born. He had his first diaper rash and it was a bad one. In fact, it was so bad that you could actually see his skin peeling right off! The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse used to slap the maximum strength Desitin on him. After that, I swore I would do whatever I could to keep him from feeling that pain again, especially around the times he was unable to even tell me about his pain.
I read every label for every product I put on my son. Until now (4 years old) he has had incredibly smooth skin. Sure, it probably has nothing to do with the creams, etc. but giving him natural, non-toxic, and chemical safe products makes me feel a lot better.
Last week, I was having breakfast at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles with my husband and son, when the woman sitting next to us noticed my little guy. Naturally, my husband started a conversation with her that ended in getting to know one another’s business situations. Turns out, she owns a fantastic company, called B & N Laundry. She was headed to the Los Angeles Convention Center for the 2015 Gift Show, which I decided to check out later that day.
Rachel, the owner of B & N Laundry gave me a bag of her lemon scented goat milk laundry detergent as well as a dryer ball. I opened the beautiful bag of detergent and smelled the lovely lemony scent. I couldn’t wait to get home and start doing my laundry!
Benefits of Using Goat Milk Soap
Did you know that goat milk soap is so much healthier for your skin than other soaps that typically has some chemical that’s harsh enough to remove the dirt off of your skin? Even some of my favorite organic brands have questionable chemicals in them! Goat milk removes dirt as well as dead skin cells with the help of alpha hydroxy acids.
Since the recent measles outbreak, I have read almost everything there is about measles, including helpful preventative. Turns out that Vitamin A is very helpful in reducing and preventing many diseases. I’m talking mostly about the consumption of Vitamin A, but I’m guessing that what you put on your body can also affect what goes on with you internally.
Guess what? Goat milk is high in Vitamin A, which turns out to be helpful towards anti-aging, acne, and other skin care issues. THAT’S why I was so excited about using B and N Laundry’s detergent!
The B and N Laundry Detergent Review
At voiceBoks, we only post products we actually love. And guess what? I LOVE the B & N detergent. My clothes now have the lovely lemon scent, which is great for deterring bugs, by the way,. I normally used the Seventh Generation detergent but sometimes I had to do double washes because there were times the scent just couldn’t come off of my son’s clothes. This lemon scent makes me feel like all of our clothes are truly clean and of course makes us smell good too! Plus, I know that I’m not putting more chemically harmful products on me, which gives me slight a sense of relief!
The B and N Laundry Dryer Ball Review
Rachel actually gave the dryer ball to my 4 year old son so he could have something to kick around, while he had to wait patiently at the show. I didn’t realize until later that it was a dryer ball. When I got home, I stuck it in my dryer for a little bit to clean the dirt off of it. Then I put it with the clothes that were just washed with the detergent.
I absolutely could not believe how well this ball worked! It didn’t changed shape, form, or anything. It was still a perfect ball and there was no static on my clothes! For better results, you can also stick more than one ball for improved drying times! 4 balls will help decrease your drying time up to 25%! Who would have guessed that it could be an energy saver too! Pretty fantastic, right?
Apparently this one ball can be used for up to 6 months! No more buying expensive dryer sheets for us!
With all of these benefits, how could you NOT want to use B & N Laundry supplies?
