Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom, work-at-home mom, or a working mom, chances are, you’ve got a pretty full schedule with a lifestyle, which you or someone else might think is pretty mundane. There’s too much happening without much else going on. Wow! I bet I’m not the only mom confused by that statement!
Do you ever feel like you’re picking up toys all day long, picking up a kid or two from here and there, feeding little people, preparing dinner, washing dishes, getting some non-household work in on a daily basis, yet still come out not having had much done? Then of course, your significant other comes home and and might make a comment that suggests you haven’t done anything all day?
You’re too tired to argue so you sit down and hope for some peace and quiet. You most likely WILL NOT get that moment of silence, but then decide to stare into space and do your absolute best to cancel the noise out.
Judge NOT! Mom needs a glass of wine!
Obviously, there’s only one solution to all of this — a glass of wine. But does that make you look like an alcoholic or an irresponsible mom?
Mom deserves a treat! Everyone else seems to get it throughout the day or week! The kids get play dates, times to run around, sweets, and whatever their teacher, friends, or even mom and dad decide to spoil them with. Dad, on the other hand, usually gets his merry time when he’s away. Even office time can be a moment of uninterrupted time.
When you think back at the time your husband asked you to marry you, I bet you didn’t think of wine as a great way to space out. No, you probably thought of wine as the best way to continue to enjoy your love life and the next moments of whatever love fantasy you thought you were going to walk into next.
As a mom, there are many reasons a glass of wine could be pretty F-ing good:
- A great way to unwind
- It can help you feel like you’re in your own version of play land
- It can help you feel sexy and perhaps in the mood for some night time lovin’
- It’s a great way for us to FORGET about everything else and just relax
Think wine-time is for “me” time? Try it with other moms who could relate and encourage “good behavior” while you unwind wth your glass. It can turn wine-time into an even more fun time.
