Parenthood is full of twists. As your children grow so do your adventures. The unique indoor tantrums, the mishaps, the funny moments, and all the wonderful events that make you think, “what was I thinking?” while at the same moment you know that deep down you wouldn’t change any part of it for anything in the world!
As a blogger, you come across many stories from various blogs, especially blogs created by parents. You might be able to relate to many of the moments in their lives and perhaps even find certain activities that might shock you. One of my favorite bloggers is a stay-at-home mom living in Arizona, taking care of her 6 children. Big deal? Oh, there daily surprises that she shares that could really shock you. In fact, it has often shocked many other bloggers, which was a good enough reason to have it published into a book, called “Sharing Mom’s Madhouse ~ A Book With Sprinkles Of Truth.”
Sharon, the mom in the book (also the mom in real life), tells us all about the challenges she has as she raises her 6 children, the trials that come with teenage life, life in a marriage, all while trying to keep her sanity. Sure, many moms have their own version of “off the wall” moments. This mom, however, has them just about every minute of every day and overcomes all odds.
Women are really great multi-taskers. Sharon shares many events where she holds an object in one handle, juggles an activity in another, and tries to handle a situation taking place right in front of her. The book might drive you to feel a bit overwhelmed with many situations happening all at once, but this truly is an insight into her life. She has too many situations that take place altogether and writes as is. In essence, What You See is What Your Get (WYSIWYG) in this book. You want to know what a madhouse is like? Oh, this book has plenty of mad situations!
Parents might be more open to accepting the many challenges in their lives and find it possible to overcome most dilemmas after a glimpse in “Mom’s Madhouse!” It is at situations, like the ones that take place in this madhouse, when a parent finds out their strengths and true inhibitions.
